In 2008 the Drapers gathered in Lowell, Mass for traditional Thanksgiving fare (Draper-style) and a next-day tour of historical sites in Lowell, as orchestrated by George & Charlotte Draper. Most of us had only seen pictures, or at most, parts of Draper loom but had yet so see one in full ... not to mention, in action. Boot Mill in Lowell has a large collection of the looms and we were treated to the experience of an entire floor of the building filled with working looms.
