Late afternoon of our 1st day (the only sunshine we saw in Paris). Arc de Triomphe.
The only way to get across to the monument was in an underground tunnel.

An amazing site!
We landed at 6am but the hotel room wasn't ready; so we hung around the Eiffel Tower 'till it opened at 9:30 to go up.
Between Paris and Barcelona, you saw MANY street performers - statues.
